Denpasar, 28 May 2023 The Speaking Youth Entertainment Experience Student Activity Unit (UKM SYNTAX) ITB STIKOM Bali successfully held the SYNCOSTAN 2023 event (SYNTAX Comes to Meet and Fun 2023) with the theme “Meet and Eat”. The SYNCOSTAN 2023 event is a night of intimacy to strengthen relations between members and also the general public, because this event is not only open to SYNTAX UKM members or ITB STIKOM Bali students, but is also open to the general public, which is held in the front lobby and the Renon Campus parking lot ITB STIKOM Bali. With tickets sold in this event as many as 391 tickets.
The SYNCOSTAN 2023 open gate starts at 15.00 WITA, then continues with an open mic at 16.30 WITA. SYNCOSTAN 2023 is filled with several events, one of which is a talk show. The talkshow at this event carried the theme “Build Your Confidence with Public Speaking” which was hosted by Ni Putu Dwi Verayanti Utami S.S., M.Hum., CSP, who is a professional MC, host, founder & CEO of Public Speaking Bali, and I Wayan Epa Jayantika S.M who is a professional MC, host, and founder of Public Speaking Skills.
The games that are very closely related to public speaking are “Product Marketing”, in these games the participants will be given products by the committee, then they will promote these products on stage, the best participants will get prizes.
Apart from that, there were other performances from several UKM at ITB STIKOM Bali such as acoustics from UKM SBMC, dance from UKM DOS, dance joget from UKM Tari, and DJ from SBMC Dancing who collaborated with Untitledbeat. The other performances were acoustics from the Matamorae Band, performances from the Raga Band, and the guest star at this event, Meiska Adinda, who also enlivened the SYNCOSTAN 2023 event.
In this event there were also several MSME booths selling various foods and drinks. SYNCOSTAN 2023 lasts until 22.20 WITA which is closed with a photo session of all the committee.
