Denpasar – Recently, the Multimedia Student Activity Unit of ITB STIKOM Bali again participated in several national level competition participation activities including D’EAST 2022 (Dewata Event Academic Sport and Art), NESCO 2022 (National Electrical Power System Competition) and Portrait Education 2022.
D’EAST 2022 is an event organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University. At the event which was held on April 18 – July 24, participants from Multimedia UKM took part in a poster competition with the given theme, “Development of Traditional Culture with the Creativity of Today’s Young People”. Multimedia UKM sent two participants who became a team to represent Multimedia UKM in the competition, namely Ni Made Lia Ari Widani and I Kadek Srinata. However, unfortunately they have not come out as champions.
The next competition is NESCO 2022 (National Electrical Power System Competition) organized by the Electrical Engineering and Information Technology Student Family, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The event was held on 4 – 5 June 2022. Multimedia UKM was represented by Kadek Wahyu Dharma Yudha Gunawan in the Poster Contest category. Among the themes given, Wahyu chose the theme “Energy Storage System for Renewable Energy Sources to Generate Efficiency in Power Generation”. But unfortunately, Wahyu has not come out as the champion.
Last but not least, Multimedia UKM also sent representatives to take part in the 2022 Education Portrait competition with the Videography Competition category. Portrait of Education 2022 is an event held by the Faculty of Languages and Arts, State University of Surabaya. The participant representing the competition is a member of the Multimedia UKM named Justin Garret Yan.
The theme of the videography competition is “Creative Teachers Produce Productive Students for Quality Education”. The video made by Justin tells about students who are bored with school lessons, but everything changes when there is one teacher who teaches by giving assessment points if they can answer it. Although the video in the competition has been made to the maximum, unfortunately Justin has not come out as the champion (*).
