Badung, Bali — The spirit of adventure and sportsmanship once again resonated at Munggu Beach, Badung, Bali. On Saturday, July 5, 2025, Mapala Bhuana Giri of Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar, successfully held the Bhuana Giri Beach Exploration Competition (LSPB) in the Men’s Team category, a national competition bringing together various nature lover organizations (Mapala) from across Indonesia.
One of the standouts was Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali, which sent three of its best female athletes to compete in the Men’s Team category—a bold and progressive move that demonstrated the spirit of inclusivity and equality in outdoor sports.

With a challenging route, participants navigated the coastline filled with natural obstacles that tested physical strength, endurance, and team strategy. The competition began promptly at 9:00 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time), with enthusiastic support from the supporters, boosting the participants’ fighting spirit.
Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali was represented by I Putu Rio Amrith, Alvaro Michael Elroy Matehalemual, and I Kadek Yoga Pradnyana.
The three performed exceptionally, overcoming various challenges with resilience and solid teamwork. As a result, they finished with a proud 9th place out of 23 teams.
Although they didn’t make the top three, this achievement is a testament to the dedication and passion of the Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali athletes. In a fiercely competitive atmosphere, they demonstrated that their skills, fighting spirit, and thorough preparation could compete with formidable teams from across the archipelago.
More than just a competition, the LSPB also served as a platform to strengthen solidarity within the Mapala community and raise environmental awareness and the importance of teamwork. This activity further strengthened Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali’s position as an active, inclusive organization ready to compete on the national stage.
STIKOM Bali continues to support the development of students’ soft skills through extracurricular activities like this, believing that field experience is a crucial part of a technology- and character-based higher education process.
For those of you who want to study while developing your passion for the outdoors, technology, and leadership, ITB STIKOM Bali is the perfect place to grow.
