KSR ISTB STIKOM Bali in collaboration with PMI Denpasar City held a Blood Donation with the theme “Alirkan darah, alirkan kebaikan, selamatkan semua”

Denpasar – Wednesday, March 19, 2025 UKM KSR PMI Unit ITB STIKOM Bali, has held a Blood Donation activity which took place in the lobby of the ITB STIKOM Bali Renon campus. In this Blood Donation activity, UKM KSR PMI Unit ITB STIKOM Bali collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Denpasar City. The theme of this Blood Donation was “Alirkan darah, alirkan kebaikan, selamatkan semua”.

The head of the committee of UKM KSR Unit ITB STIKOM Bali Ida Ayu Ikajati Valentina Febriyani said that this Blood Donation activity lasted one session for approximately two and a half hours, namely at 08.30 – 11.00 WITA. “It was recorded that there were 20 participants (20 blood bags) who successfully donated blood, around 8 people who had not succeeded in donating blood due to several factors such as high blood pressure, low blood pressure, low HB, menstruation, underweight, and others. The Blood Donation which is held annually is open to the public so that prospective donors do not only come from students, Lecturers, or staff of ITB STIKOM Bali, participants from outside ITB STIKOM Bali can also participate as prospective donors,” he explained.

In addition to carrying out Blood Donation activities, UKM KSR-PMI Unit ITB STIKOM Bali also carried out free Health checks such as Uric Acid, Glucose, and Cholesterol.

The Blood Donation activity which started at 08.30-11.00 WITA, was attended by several KSR-PMI Units around the city of Denpasar and was attended by BEM, DPM, Student Affairs, and representatives from each UKM ITB STIKOM Bali.
