Denpasar, June 7, 2025 – In the spirit of sharing and strengthening ties, the Moslem Community of STIKOM Bali (MCOS) Student Activity Unit once again held a solemn and lively celebration of Eid al-Adha 1446 H. Held in the backyard and Hall of ITB STIKOM Bali, this annual activity carries the theme “Sharing in Sacrifice Weaving Togetherness”, depicting the meaning of qurban as more than just a ritual of worship, but also a momentum to strengthen the values of caring, patience, and solidarity between each other.

The event started in the morning at 08.00 WITA with the procession of slaughtering sacrificial animals. This year, the committee managed to collect nine goats to be sacrificed. The qurban meat was then distributed to the academic community of ITB STIKOM Bali and the community around the campus as a form of social concern and the practice of Islamic values in everyday life.

Entering the afternoon, the series of activities continued with a thanksgiving event held in the Hall of ITB STIKOM Bali. This activity began with the screening of a video documentation of the qurban cutting in the morning, followed by the opening by the MC and the reading of the holy verses of the Qur’an by Zaki Irsyad Maulana Zend. The Chairman of the Committee, Bagas Ardianmas, in his report expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm and contribution of various parties in making this event a success.

The Rector of ITB STIKOM Bali, Dr. Dadang Hermawan, was also present and gave a warm welcome. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of maintaining the spirit of togetherness and strengthening the humanitarian values contained in the celebration of Eid al-Adha.

The excitement of the thanksgiving was even more pronounced with the presence of an inspiring sermon from Ust. Arham Shiddiq Asy’ari Sobari who invited all participants to reflect on the meaning of Prophet Ibrahim’s sacrifice and make it an example in modern life. The event was then closed with a friendly gathering and eating together accompanied by the melodious strains of Zahra Auliya Febbyanti, and closed with a prayer together as a closing full of blessings.

The success of this activity cannot be separated from the support of various sponsors who have contributed, including: Ayam Betutu Bu Ferdi, LPBA, POLITEKNIK, DSM Daging Qurban, Kasaf, Aqua, ENCLESS, and Zewa Hate.

The Chairperson of the Committee, Bagas Ardianmas, expressed his gratitude for the smooth running of the entire series of events. “Alhamdulillah, this activity went very well. Thank you to all the committee, sponsors, the campus, and all parties who have supported and been involved in the implementation of this 2025 Eid al-Adha activity,” he said.
