UKM Robotics And Embedded Systems (RADE) Participate in the 2022 Indonesian Robot Contest

Denpasar – Monday, June 13, 2022 Robotics and Embedded Systems Student Activity Unit (UKM RADE) ITB STIKOM Bali, participated in the 2022 Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) competition organized by the National Achievement Center, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) is an annual student competition activity in the field of robotics design and engineering. KRI 2022 is the 20th implementation since it was first held in 2003 by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture at that time.

In this Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI), there are several divisions contested, namely the Indonesian ABU Robot Contest (KRAI), Indonesian Search and Rescue Robot Contest (KRSRI), Indonesian Football Robot Contest (KRSBI) on wheels, and Indonesian Football Robot Contest (KRSBI). Humanoid, Indonesian Dance Robot Contest (KRSTI), and Indonesian Thematic Robot Contest (KRTMI).

At this year’s Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI), the Robotics and Embedded Systems Student Activity Unit (UKM RADE) participated in the Indonesian SAR Robot Contest (KRSRI) division. At KRSRI the robot has the task of extinguishing candles and also saving potential victims from potential fires to a safe place. KRI only allows universities to send one team per competition division. At this year’s KRI UKM RADE ITB STIKOM BALI sent a team to the KRSRI division, namely the RADE Kabinawa team consisting of three participants: Hergiano Pinko from the Computer Systems Study Program, I Gusti Ngurah Putu Arya Wijaya from the Information Technology Study Program, and I Kadek Agus Ari Setiawan from the Information Systems Study Program.

The Kabinawa RADE team got their first turn at the first and second KRSRI appearances which were held on Sunday – Monday, 13 – 14 June 2022. The Kabinawa RADE team got 19th place with an average score of 216.7 points.
