Denpasar. The 4th Indonesian Cyber Army (2015 ICA) was hosted by STIKOM Bali on 1 – 2 October 2015. The event was attended by 150 Indonesia students, who were competing on their skill and know how on computer hacking and forensic. This competition was powered by a collaboration among the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo), Multimatics, and the Association of Computer Science Universities, Aptikom (Asosiasi Perguruan Tinggi Komputer). The 2015 ICA was opened by the Major of Denpasar represented by the Head of Bali Communication and Information Office, I Dewa Made Agung, S.E., M.Si

The Chairman of Indonesian Cyber Army, Agus Setiawan said that this ICA competition is the appropriate event especially in purpose of seeking new experts on computer security. Indonesia needs the counted human resources to face all unsafe possibilities that attack the information and communication system in the entire of Indonesia. Agus also said that the number of participants has been increasing annually. The first ICA in Medan was attended only by 30 participants, and the second in Samarinda was attended by 80 participants. There were 100 participants on the   third ICA in Makassar and now in Denpasar, there were 150 participants attending the fourth   ICA at STIKOM Bali. The participants were coming from 32 universities from 18 cities from around Indonesia. Some distinguish universities presented on that occasion are University of Indonesia, Binus Jakarta, Amikom Jogjakarta, Amikom Bandung and etc.
The Chairman of STIKOM Bali, Dr. Dadang Hermawan expressed his grateful to the Committee and the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information for their trust so that STIKOM Bali becomes the host for the 4th Indonesian Cyber Army 2015. “Most of all, we will sustain supports for any activities related to ICT competition. Our students are always ready to compete; we are ready to win and vice versa.” said Dr. Dadang.
